John E. Traub 89, of Newtown, died Tuesday July 10, at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ann Marie Traub.
Born May 29, 1929 in Waterbury, CT he was the son of the late Burras and Marguerite Traub. He has been a resident of Newtown since 1969. He worked at Amphenol and Burndy before starting his own business MCS Microcomputer Services.
Mr. Traub and his late wife were former residents of Bethlehem, CT. He is survived by two sons, James B. Traub and his wife Alison of England, Thomas E. Traub of Stuart, FLA, and two granddaughters Rory and Riley. In addition to his wife he was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home 58 Main St. Newtown on Monday July 16 from 10 to 11:30 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon at the Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West St. Newtown. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, Bethlehem, CT.
