Julie J. Parks, 91 of Trumbull died January 23, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Parks was the wife of the late Richard Parks, Sr. She was born in Dagus Mines, Pennsylvania on April 29, 1921 a daughter of the late Virgilio and Dominica (Panada) Brunori. Mrs. Parks was a longtime resident of Fairfield and was a communicant of St. Emery Church. During her working career, Mrs. Parks was a secretary for the Connecticut Bank and Trust Co. until her retirement. In 1991 she moved to Boynton Beach, FL where she lived before moving to Spring Meadow Assisted Living Facility, Trumbull in 2010. She is survived by her children, Richard Parks, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Newtown, Betsy Parks of Madrid Spain and Gregory Parks and his spouse Robert Doyle of Newfane, Vermont; 2 grandchildren, Timothy Parks of Middletown and Colleen Strang and her husband Mark of Bethel; 2 great grandchildren, McKenzie and Cole Strang and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown at 10:00am Monday January 28th. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
