Obituary for Keith Gerard Sherrick

Keith G. Sherrick, age 52 of Brookfield went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday Feb. 23rd at Danbury Hospital after a six year courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Sherrick was the beloved husband of Renee (Patsis) Sherrick. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ on August 1, 1960 a son of Chuck Sherrick of Elizabeth and the late Margaret (Cassidy) Sherrick. Keith was raised in Elizabeth and was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. He was also a graduate of N.J.I.T. with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He earned an M.B.A. from Pace University. Keith was a Vice President for IBM. A resident of Brookfield since 1997, he was an Elder of the Walnut Hill Community Church where he was co-leader of the cancer support group and held a leadership role in the World Mission Team of the church. Keith was President of the Board of the Hopeline Pregnancy Resource Center in Danbury. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by 2 sons, Christopher M. and Matthew N. Sherrick; a brother, Michael Sherrick; 2 sisters, Debbie Sherrick Runfolo and Barbara Miller. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home 58 Main St., Newtown Monday (today) from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Private interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. A service celebrating Keith’s life will be held Friday March 15th at 2:00pm in the Walnut Hill Community Church, Bethel.
