When I think of our immediate family I think of my aunts, uncles and cousins.  As I grew old I realized that other families don't consider that to be immediate.  Such a shame, those people really don't realize the strong bond of a family that is close.  Uncle Ken was my uncle, he was a part of it before I was.  When I think of family icons, I think that he fits the role.  Such an amazing individual who brought such gracefullness and meaning to what a family is supposed to represent.  I look at the Adams family and want my family to be like them in so many ways.  Uncle Ken taught us how to value and respect family and I was proud to be a part of his family.
