Linda Maria Keller, age 54 wife of Lawrence M. Keller of Newtown died Tuesday April 19, 2011 after a short illness.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 17, 1957 a daughter of the late Salvatore and Jenny (Costello) DiDio. Linda grew up on Long Island and in Brewster, NY. She was a graduate of Brewster High School. A resident of Newtown since 2007, Linda was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church where she was a Catechist and office volunteer for the religious education program.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by 2 sons, Brian Bartolo of Patterson, NY and Justin Bartolo of New Fairfield; a stepson, Michael Keller of Newtown; a brother, Sero DiDio and his wife Sharon of Brewster, NY; 3 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and her former husband and close friend, Bruce Bartolo of Brewster, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown Monday April 25, 2011 at 11:00am. Interment will be private. Friends may call in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown Thursday April 21, 2011 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer contributions to the St. Rose of Lima Memorial Fund, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown, CT 06470.
