Matthew Goodman

Dear Laura, Alan and extended Mitchell Family, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I fondly remember hanging out with Mary in your house during Laura's high school parties, and we shared a lot of laughs. Much to my surprise, Mary magically appeared as my substitute teacher in Newtown High School one day, and it was one of the coolest classes we ever had. All of the students left class that day and exclaimed that the sub that day was super awesome and everyone liked her way much more than our regular teacher. Mary took the lesson plans, and actually made the lecture fun and light-hearted for the entire period - not an easy task to please a bunch of impatient teenagers. I'm deeply sorry to hear of Mary's passing and know she will be missed. Fondly, Matthew Goodman and family.
