Mary Savarese, age 99, wife of the late Joseph V. Savarese of Reynolds Ridge, Bethel died January 29, 2011 in Bethel Health Care.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY June 18, 1911 a daughter of the Francis and Rose Scavone. Mary was a longtime resident of Queens, NY and had resided in Bethel for the last several years.
She is survived by a grandson, Jonathan Savarese and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Savarese Pace, both of Newtown. Mary was predeceased by her son Joseph F. Savarese.
A Graveside Service will be held at St. Rose Cemetery, Newtown in the Spring. There are no calling hours. Arrangements in care of the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
