Noie Louie Richards, 61 of Newtown died unexpectedly Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. Mr. Richards was the husband of Irma (Poquette) Richards. He was born in Danbury on September 6, 1951 a son of the late Noie and Wilma (Presnell) Richards. Louie was a lifelong resident of Newtown and was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1969. He was the owner of R&R Foundations and previously was employed by the Town of Newtown Highway Department. Louie enjoyed bowling at the Brookfield Lanes. In addition to his wife, Mr. Richards is survived by 2 sons, Christopher and his wife Amanda and Conrad all of Newtown; a granddaughter Savannah; a brother, George of Kissimmee, FL; a sister Alice of Kentucky. He was predeceased by a brother Robert. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday May 25th at 3:00pm in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown. Cremation will be private. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11:00am to 3:00pm prior to the service.
