Patricia (Beechel) Froehly, age 67, beloved wife, daughter, sister, godmother and aunt of Westport passed away Sunday June 9th at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Kenneth M. Froehly. Pat was born in Richmond Hills, Queens, NY on March 13, 1946 a daughter of Vincent Beechel, Sr. of Newtown and the late Frances (Cuffe) Beechel. She grew up in Queens and was an Administrative Assistant in the Liquor and Spirits industry. Mrs. Froehly had been a resident of Westport for 40 years. In addition to her husband and father, survivors include a brother, Vincent Beechel, Jr. of New York City and a sister, Donna DeJoseph of Brookfield; 3 nieces, 4 nephews and 8 great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 13th at 10:00am in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, New York. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Donations in memory of Pat may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
