Obituary for Philip "Phil" Conte

Philip "Phil"  Conte
Philip Conte, age 50, beloved husband of Lisa (Hector) Conte of Bethel, died unexpectedly Monday December 23, 2013 in Danbury Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on March 22, 1963 a son of Benedetto and Elisa (Brocco) Conte of Monroe. Philip grew up in Monroe and graduated from Masuk High School. He was employed as a mechanic for the Mount Kisco Medical Group and had resided in Bethel for three years. In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include 2 sisters, Lisa Leno and her husband Robert of New Milford and Lina Paiva and her husband John of Shelton; 2 step-daughters, Nicole Simms of Danbury and Danielle Hector of Bethel; a niece, Alicia Leno of New Milford; a step-grandson, Aiden Morris of Danbury and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown Monday Dec.30th at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St. Newtown Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
