Phyllis grew up in Acton, MA and graduated high school in Raymond, NH where she was the captain of the cheerleading team. She enjoyed working alongside her dad in the family business. She loved to travel in and out of the U.S. and was happiest surrounded by the mountains of New Hampshire and the Atlantic coastline. Phyllis was Assistant to Dr. Helene Blakesly in W. Hartford, CT, worked at Danbury Hospital and for the State of CT DMR. She was a hospice volunteer at Healing Hearts in Danbury, CT and was a member of the Newtown Garden Club.

Phyllis is predeceased by her two sons, Dennis M. Peaslee and Bruce E. Peaslee. She leaves behind four children, Cathleen Derosier of Conway, SC, Charles T. Peaslee and wife Elizabeth of Guilford, CT, Donna M. Peaslee of Cheshire, CT, Patricia A. and husband Michael P. Shannon of Sandy Hook, CT and Cynthia Peaslee of Seymour CT wife of her late son Dennis. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

Phyllis was loved by everyone she touched throughout her long and happy life and will forever be missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans fund, P.O. Box14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
