Stanley Joseph Wyslick died peacefully in Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 78.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara (Reardon), of Newtown; his children, William (Susan) of Portland, CT and Jennifer (Dawn) of New Milford, CT; 3 grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, and Tyler. He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Catherine Wyslick and his brother Edward.

Stanley was born on November 7, 1939 in Norwalk, CT. He graduated from Staples High School in Westport, CT and the University of Bridgeport with a degree in Accounting. He worked at Timex Corporation for most of his career until his retirement.

Stanley and his family resided in Newtown, where he was a member of the Newtown Congregational Church and the Newtown Lions Club. He loved to garden and spend time by the water, especially at the family home in New Hampshire.

A service honoring his life will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Newtown Congregational Church 14 West Street, Newtown. Private burial will be in Newtown Village Cemetery. The family will receive guests at 2:00 PM, followed by a service of remembrance at 3:00 PM. A reception will follow in the church hall. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stanley's life.
