Suzanne Marie Rocca, age 52, of Sandy Hook died peacefully in her home on June 23 surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She was born on July 21, 1960, in Stamford and is the daughter of Theresa (Rich) Carlucci and the late Peter Carlucci, Sr. Mrs. Rocca graduated from Rippowam High School in Stamford in 1978. Suzanne married the love of her life and caregiver for the past 14 years, Albert Rocca, Jr. of Stamford, CT on September 25, 1983. This September is their 30th Wedding Anniversary. Suzanne and Al raised three children together in Newtown; Kristen, 26; Jaimee, 22; and Nicholas, 18. She is survived by her loving husband and children, her mother, her three older brothers, and a number of close friends and relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church Newtown on Wednesday June 26, 2013 at 12:30 in the afternoon. Interment in St. Rose Cemetery will be private.
