Thomas J. Ruddy, passed away February 24, 2014 at his home in Newtown, CT. Tom was born in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France on October 25, 1955 and was a resident of Newtown since 1957. Tom was the son of Mrs. Eugenie Ruddy of Cape Coral, FL (formerly of Newtown, CT) and the late James A. Ruddy.
Tom was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1973 and was a self- employed Computer Consultant.
Tom is survived by his sisters, Marianne Jones of Fort Myers, FL, Patricia Warner of Guilford, CT, and Elizabeth Scalzo of Cape Coral, FL; nephew Edward Wilson III of MD; nieces, Olivia, Julia & Jessica Warner of Guilford, CT and Brittany and Alexa Scalzo of Cape Coral, FL; great-nephews, Jack and John Wilson and great-niece Riley Wilson of MD.
Friends may call Friday, March 21 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local American Heart Association in memory of Tom.
