Vincent "Vince" Lupo Jr.
Obituary for Vincent Lupo Jr
November 20, 1943 – September 26, 2017

Vincent Lupo Jr was born November 20, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to Rose Vetere Lupo and the late Vincent Lupo Sr. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Andrea Graham Lupo and his children Andrea and Steve Ozyck, Kristen and Steve Powers, Vincent and Amy Lupo and his grandchildren Zachary and Lindsay Ozyck and Alison and Jessica Powers. He is also survived by his mother Rose Lupo and his siblings and their families.

Vince was a proud graduate of Seton Hall Prep and University. He also served active duty as a First Lieutenant in the US Army during the Vietnam era. His storied career, spanning many decades, included various sales roles, non-profit work and retail management. The most rewarding for him was owning A La Carde Hallmark store for 6 years.

Vince was a Rotarian for over a decade. He served as Club President multiple times and was recognized with the coveted Paul Harris Award twice. Vince was also a long time member of the Knights of Columbus and was the Grand Knight of the Candlewood Lake Council at the time of his passing.

Always ready to lend a hand, Vince was honored to be the fundraising chairman for the building of St Joseph’s Church in Brookfield. He also volunteered his time as a Boy Scout Troop Leader, a BBA softball coach, on countless committees and serving at Dorothy Day.

Of all his many accomplishments and various endeavors, Vince was first and foremost a family man. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren beyond measure and was happiest sitting at the head of his dining room table sharing food and wine and lots of laughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 163 Whisconier Rd, Brookfield, CT on September 29, 2017 at 11:00am.
