Obituary for William John "Billy" Falbo
William J. Falbo, age 31, of Sandy Hook, Connecticut passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 26, 2016.
Billy was born on October 27, 1984 in Norwalk, CT, son of Anthony and Judith (Hoey) Falbo of Sandy Hook and the beloved brother of Anthony James Falbo. Billy was known for his sense of humor, dedication to his friends and family, love of weightlifting, dancing like no one was watching, and spending time with family on Cape Cod.
Billy is also survived by his beloved Nana whom he loved above all as well as many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends – many whom he considered family. Nothing made Billy happier than being surrounded by people he loved. He was predeceased by his Grandfather, Pop, who was a father figure to him and helped raise him to have compassion for others, a quick wit, a generous laugh, and an appreciation of nature and animals.
The family will receive friends at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday June 1st.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 2 at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 35 Norfield Road, Weston, CT. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Jimmy Fund c/o Dana- Farber Cancer Institute.
