Condolences

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to express my sympathies to the Tropeano family. I want you to know I'm thinking of you as I know that the anniversary of your loved one is soon approaching. Please keep in mind the beautiful hope for the future at John 5:28,29. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your loved one Patricia. Imagine being able to see her again, to hold her, to talk to her in person. No doubt this is an opportunity that you look forward to. This is what Almighty God promised us, and it's a promise that we can put our faith in. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope that the many memories you've shared with Patricia continue to comfort you each day.

Condolence: My sister Kathy said it so beautifully below. The three of us had some great times together. I can still hear "One Summer Night" blaring from Pats bedroom wndow. I can still see her falling into Playland Lake, hiking through Playland woods to "Big Rock" (which does not look so big anymore), staying in our garage when she ran away from home (that lasted about 3 hours) and trying to tie a box of cookies with a rope so that Kathy and I could pull it up to our bedroom window. (we were being punished - can't remember why). Guess who was standing behind Pat... my mom. No cookies, no Pat.

Pat and John introduced Caggie and I. We stood up for them when they got married. What a job Pat and I had trying to find a lace jacket (her dress was sleeveless and that was a no no back then) Caggie and I were also honored to be Godparents to 2 of their children. We were so happy to attend their 50th Anniversary party. it was a wonderful affair and I have several photos from the party that I will cherish always.

She is in the arms of her maker now. I will love her always and never forget her.

Condolence: Pat was my beloved childhood playmate. She was my partner in some of the most precious memories I have of growing up on Rosemere Street in Rye, NY. We spent many, many hours together riding bikes, playing street games, playing dress up, roller skating, having snowball fights, climbing trees, playing cards, dancing to American Bandstand, and swimming at Rye Beach. We proudly considered ourselves to be tomboys and really looked the part after her sister gave us DA haircuts. Pat came to church with our family on Sundays. I know that my parents considered her another daughter and know too that they were on hand to welcome her to heaven. I cannot think of one time when Pat was anything less than a beautiful human being who was filled with love and kindness. It can truly be said that she did not have a mean bone in her body. Our paths took us in different directions as adults but we kept in touch and always enjoyed trading memories of our childhood adventures and misadventures. I was able to attend John and Pat’s recent 50th Anniversary party. It was a beautiful tribute of love reflecting what she and John have accomplished. I am so glad that Pat was able to enjoy it. I will miss her terribly but know that she is at peace. My prayers are with John, her family and extended family for a light has gone out in all of our lives.

Condolence: So sorry to hear and for all of our loss. I've had the pleasure of knowing Patricia since I was a young teenager and now as an adult. She helped raise an amazing family, one so close I consider it my own in many ways. Her laugh, her generosity and warm heart will never be forgotten. My best always :)
