I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how bad it feels to lose someone that important. I think the pain you feel is so very painful because of how great a human they were. It really is a literal heartbreak. Xo I love you Aunt Dori Uncle Jimmy Jill and Jess.
For forty years we were friends and colleagues. Stu was always one to reach out and help others get better at what they did and, always, he led from behind. In so many ways, he was ahead of his time in his view of how schools could best be served and the children in them all benefitted from his dedication, his intelligence, and his support. I was so fortunate to have been his friend and his colleague. Rest, my friend, your journey is done and you traveled it so well.
Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?
"All you can take with you is that which you've given away."
Dad - I know you loved quotes. As such it was fitting that I use some and there is nothing that personifies your life than these quotes from "It's a Wonderful Life". They pretty much sum it up for me, as well, I'm sure, for many others who had the pleasure of knowing you. I loved you so very much and there is not just a hole, but a crater in my heart. You were one of the most generous, loving people I know and since you did give away so much of your time, energy and money to others in need I know you had it all to take with you.
I'll love you forever daddy.....
