I meet Peter at Chucks Triathlon introduced by Steve Tarpinian back in the eighties. I raced the race for a number of years and Peter was always a friendly face. Over the years our paths crossed many times usually while hanging with Steve. I last saw him at my race in Montauk with Steve and last spoke to him after Steves passing. I know that those two are now racing together again. Chuck was an icon and trailblazer in the world of triathlon and all of us at Event Power will miss him. RIP my friend.
