Marilyn Pavia Imbimbo, age 44, of Newtown, passed away unexpectedly on October 19, 2011. She was born in Bridgeport on January 4, 1967 the devoted wife of Ralph Imbimbo, loving mother of John and Luca, and beloved daughter of John and Nella Pavia. Marilyn's spirit is also kept alive by her sister Luisa, brother-in-law Douglas and nephew, Eric of Newtown, CT. Marilyn's love of God and life touched the lives of many including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Marilyn was a graduate of Immaculate High School and Sacred Heart University. She was a loyal and energetic employee of Steelcase for 13 years. The many who knew and loved Marilyn were blessed by her passionate spirit. Marilyn held a special place in her heart for St.Rose School and Parish and St. Joseph High School in Trumbull where her two sons are enrolled. Friends may visit at St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, on Monday,October 24 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church on Tuesday at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
