I only met Mary once this past year at her daughter Joan's house here at Cape Cod and thought how nice she was to share her love of Mahjong with myself, Joanie and our friend Barbara (Mae) Bush. We had never met but she tweeked her skills at the game and reminded all of us of the strategies of winning. She seemed to know she wouldn't be around for too much longer and I personally privately applauded her spirit - she traveled to get to her daughters home, met her friends and enjoyed the afternoon! Wish I had known her longer.
