To the family and loved ones of Scott Smith I want to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am a Lieutenant with the Middletown Police Department and have been an officer for 23yrs. I was at the rally at the State Captial in support of your son back in 1998. I will pray for your loved one and want you to know I will not forget his service. I did not work with him or personally know him but what I knew of your loved one I know he did the right things on the job and in life.
