I remember coaching Little League with Kirk and Terry Wood in the early 80s. A good and decent man, Kirk was always motivated by what was best for the kids. Sincerest condolences to the family.
So many thoughts,
run through my head.
So many things,
regretfully left unsaid.
You left us that day,
without any clue,
No reason, no explanation,
Why God called upon YOU.
With the arrival of my triplets
You'd made it clear to me,
You couldn't be any prouder
of this once rebellious teen.
Your calming voice, your gentle touch,
and white beard always made the girls giggle so much.
Full of wisdom, eager to teach,
What I'd give to plant a kiss on those rosy red cheeks.
As you smile on me from up above,
My tears say I'm sad but my heart is filled with love.
I love you dear uncle you meant the world to me.
I'll always make you proud of me- you will see.
Love Forever & Always,
Princess
