Richard R. Miller age 79, husband of Sharon (Sherburne) Miller of Sandy Hook died Thursday January 20, 2011 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport after a long ilness.
He was born in Bronx, NY May 4, 1931 a son of the late Irving M. and Anna (Gastel) Miller. Mr. Miller was a longtime Storeman for AT&T in the New York and New England corridor until his retirement. He was a longtime member of Hiram Masonic Lodge #18 A.F. & A.M. in Sandy Hook.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his children, Mark Miller and his wife P.J. of Derby, Robert Leno and his wife Lisa of New Milford, Chris Sherburne and his wife Chrisi of Orlando, FL and Karen Bolduc of Sooke, British Columbia, Canada; a sister, Marlene Slavin of New Milford, NJ; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 25, 2011 at 11:00am in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Masonic Service at 7:30pm.
