A good neighbor

Richie and Sharon have been our neighbors since we moved in back in 2002. Richie had taken care of our house for the previous owner and knew more about the house than anyone. Both he and Sharon were invaluable to us, first time home owners. Richie lent me tools, gave advise and helped fix up our home. A few years ago when the electricity went out over several states, I came home to find an extension cord coming in a kitchen window and hooked up to my refridgerator. Richie had ran the cord from his generator so the food in our house would be saved. That kind of thoughfulness is as rare as diamond and as beautiful. Richie kept his snowblower in our garage since he didn't have a garage. In recent years, I would clear off their driveway and ours with it being so very grateful that he owned it. He and Sharon gave our son rides to work everyday and could always be counted on when we needed a helping hand. Richie, you will be missed
