Denny & Ruth Thran

Donny and my husband, Denny, are cousins. I first met Donny & Nancy when they had us for guests at their beautiful home in Sandy Hook many years ago. I immediately formed an adoration for Nancy (you, too, Donny!). While there, Nancy treated us to gourmet meals and deserts that I cannot replicate even using her recipes. We spent several glorious times with Nancy & Don at their cabin on Lake Vermillion, a piece of heaven on earth. Nancy and I would go raspberry picking, although Nancy ate more during the pick than we'd bring back to the cabin! I truly adored Nancy - her quick wit, her grace, her stamina even with her physical limitations. Denny's most precious memory of Nancy is sitting on the porch of their cabin, drinking morning coffee together and listening to the loons just enjoying the peace and beauty of the lake. I will miss Nancy tremendously. Donny & Nancy had a marriage like no other, they were devoted to each other and enjoyed so many activities. They were always on the go go go! Our hearts go out to Donny and the girls. We know Nancy is painfree in heaven, for which we send up thanks, but she is missed here on earth. Love and prayers always, Denny & Ruth
